Katsurahama Beach
Kochi's premier scenic spot with beautiful contrast of bow-shaped white sand, pine groves, and blue sea washed by Kuroshio Current. Features statue of late Edo period patriot Sakamoto Ryoma, known as a famous moon-viewing location. Swimming prohibited, but walkway offers views of powerful Pacific Ocean, with nearby Katsurahama Aquarium and Tosa fighting dog center.

Kochi Castle
Flatland-mountain castle built by Yamauchi Kazutoyo in Keicho period. Japan's only castle with both castle tower and main palace surviving, designated Important Cultural Property. Castle tower offers panoramic views of Kochi City and Pacific Ocean. Nighttime illumination and seasonal flower collaborations are beautiful.

Ryugado Cave
4km-long limestone cave, designated National Natural Monument and Historic Site. Stalagmites and columns create fantastical underground world, with must-see 'God's Pot' featuring Yayoi pottery encased in stalactites. Adventure course offers authentic caving experience with helmet.

Shimanto River (Iwama Submerged Bridge Area)
'Japan's last clear stream' without dams. Canoeing and SUP experiences on crystal-clear water surface are popular. Original landscape created by railing-less 'submerged bridges' and rural scenery is Instagram-perfect. Evening river mist is mystical.

Cape Muroto
Cape jutting into Pacific Ocean, designated UNESCO Global Geopark for dynamic uplifted coastline. Lighthouse selected as one of Japan's 50 lighthouses. Wild dolphins and whales migrate in winter; nature trail allows observation of sea caves and striped coral colonies.

Located at Shikoku's southernmost point, featuring 360-degree panoramic ocean view with curved horizon.
