  • Takachiho Yokagura (Night Sacred Dance)

    Traditional performing art with 33 acts of kagura dedicated all night in each settlement from mid-November through February. Tourist-oriented regular kagura held nightly.

  • Miyazaki Flower Festa

    Relay exhibition of spring flowers at 17 venues throughout the prefecture. Garden events held at Saito and Ikoma Plateau.

  • Miyazaki Summer Fireworks Festival

    Largest fireworks display in the prefecture coloring the Oyodo River banks. Approximately 10,000 fireworks color the night sky and water surface.

  • Miyazaki Phoenix League

    Autumn educational league with NPB farm 12 teams plus Korean professional teams. Free viewing at stadiums throughout the prefecture.
