Risshakuji (Yamadera Temple)
A temple approach with 1,015 stone steps leading to Godaido Hall and Nokyodo Hall scattered along the path, with buildings perched on cliffs offering panoramic views of the Yamagata Basin. Famous as a temple associated with Matsuo Basho.
